1962 Fender Jazz Bass in its original OLYMPIC WHITE finish! This is a rare combination of transition features in a custom color Jazz Bass with a slab board, non-matching headstock, and the 3-knob configuration. It has a great playing neck with great frets. It's all original with the only exception being one screw for one of the chrome covers. It's also 100% complete including the original mutes, chrome covers, and original brown hardshell case. The case has one broken latch, and has had two additional latches installed at one time, although one of the additional latches was removed. This authentic '62 Jazz Bass looks AMAZING with the consistent play wear of only one player since it was purchased new. There are nicks + dings, finish checking, and other cosmetic wear including finish worn from the back of the neck giving it a nice smooth feel. The bass itself is structurally sound with no cracks, breaks, or repairs. All electronics work and sound great as all solder joints remain original and untampered with. We chose not to remove the pickguard as it is well intact and appears to have never been removed. The weight is 9 lbs 7.4 oz.
