1969 Gibson Les Paul Custom headstock repair

SOLD

1969 Gibson Les Paul Custom which has had a very bad headstock break, but we have just had it professionally repaired by Main Street Vintage Guitars in Tupelo Mississippi, and is now good as new again. Below you will find pictures that were taken during the different stages of the repair. They should help explain what has been done. It now has a great playing neck with good frets, as it has been refretted. The parts that are not original to the guitar are as follows; nut, frets, bridge, switch tip, strap buttons, jackplate, control cavity cover, and some of the screws mounting the pickups. All other parts are original. There are lots of nicks + dings, finish checking, and other wear including a gouge in the wood on the treble side of the neck just behind the 10th fret. This is a one piece body and a three piece neck. It weighs 9 lbs. 3 oz. All electronics work and sound incredible with its two original Patent # sticker pickups. Includes this very nice non-original Gibson case.
