Here is a super clean example of a 1960 Gibson Les Paul Special in what appears to be a TV yellow factory refinish that was done sometime between 1960-1962. The fact that all solder joints appear to be original and unbroken lead us to believe that the factory refinish was done before the complete assembly of the guitar, but there's no way to know for certain. A different font was used for stamping serial numbers on Gibson factory refinished guitars, and this is an example of one of them. It has a great playing neck with great frets. This LP Special features the thin early '60's neck profile. All parts are original to the guitar which is 100% complete. It's in EXCELLENT condition with only minor cosmetic wear as it is structurally sound with no cracks, breaks, or repairs. All electronics work great as the combination of the P-90's and slab body provide an INCREDIBLE tone. Included is the pictured brown '50's pink-lined hardshell case which is in poor, but useable condition. We've included plenty of detailed photos to help show the authenticity of this fine guitar.
