1959 Fender Stratocaster Blonde hardtail
SOLD
1959 Fender Stratocaster in a rare and original BLONDE finish with a HARDTAIL tailpiece. It has a great playing neck with worn, but good frets. It's ALL ORIGINAL. All 3 pickups sound great and read as follows; neck-6.12/middle-6.30/bridge-6.16. This Strat is extremely comfortable with a weight of 6 lbs 15.6 oz. It has lots of nicks + dings, finish checking, and other cosmetic wear. Both the neck and body are structurally sound with no cracks, breaks, or repairs. All electronics are original as all solder joints remains original and unbroken. The tip of the pickguard has snapped off and is missing as well as that pickguard screw. The upper screw hole in the jackplate became wider than the screw head, and a small washer is under the screw head to properly hold the jackplate in place. The tailpiece cover is original to the guitar, but the case was purchased in 1965 when this guitar was sold to the 2nd and last owner.
