1961 Fender Jazzmaster in its original Sunburst finish. It has a very nice straight neck with worn, but good frets. It has it's original hardshell case and original tremolo arm (although it won't stay in place as the base is chewed up a bit). There is a lot of play wear and some very minor changes; the nut has been changed, two pickguard holes have been added, two original pickguard screw holes miss the wood entirely and are simply glued onto the pickguard, all pickguard screws are non-original, and the 2-way slide switch has been replaced as well as all bridge saddle screws. The finish on the body appears to have been buffed giving it a real shine. We've looked this guitar over very carefully under the blacklight and all finish is original to the guitar. All electronics work and sound great as it provides amazing early '60's Jazzmaster tone. Everything is structurally sound with no cracks, breaks, or repairs.
