Extremely rare SILVERBURST 1979 Gibson Les Paul Bass. It has a very nice straight neck with great frets. It's all original with the exception of the strap buttons, and is 100% complete with the exception of one screw from the jackplate. It even has its original hardshell case. The back of the body has an extra hole from a strap button. There are lots of nicks + dings, belt buckle wear, finish checking, and other cosmetic wear. This rare bass remains structurally sound with no cracks, breaks, or repairs. All electroncis work and sound great. The font used to stamp the serial number is unusual. This bass is obviously not a fake, and there are no signs of refinishing anywhere, but the odd serial number stamp cannot be explained.
